Apple caramel

my 1st attempt for these apple caramel, i think my apple look not so real, and the almond as well. will try 2nd attempt.

i love the feeling when you sold something online, , For me, my net business doesn't gain much profit , but the happiness which money can't buy which is  someone like and appreciated your work!!

Lovely trip and a multitable Pt 1

Nothing fancy, just some minis that i made in the past few weeks, and the table was bought in black heath, blue mountain, NSW back in August.

When i saw this little shop i was very excited, i am not so sure at the 1st time i passed by, when the 2nd time i passed by, i know this is the one, they put a large dollhouse outside the shop.

this shop actually sell most of the dollhouse stuff, they sell furniture, lights and some cookware. they also sell some antique stuff there which is not miniature as well.

the lady was lovely, she told me some of the miniature was made by a local old lady.

my mom and i spend and hour in the shop, i get myself this little table which is $4 and some cookware. i ll post some photos next time for sharing, and my mom bought a beautiful wind charm.

Is a very wonderful trip, i love it very much.

let me introduce the miniatures in case you don't know what is it, because of my skill XD

on the table from the upper left: hot cross bun with chocolate chip, braided loaf, BLT sourdough sandwich, chocolate tart dressed with almond flake.

lower left: French loaf serve with Vegemite, strawberry mousse cake, orange shortcake, banana choco mousse cake, peach tartlet, raspberry tartlet and strawberry tartlet and cupcake.

the Summer was at the other side of the globe, but summer is coming for us, so here are some BBQ chicken wings

The end of Halloween and the Christmas is coming

Well well well, time passed so fast, the Halloween is gone now, all the artisan must be very busy making the Halloween stuff, at least now we can take a short break, maybe have a afternoon or morning and start thinking what gonna make for the Christmas. Well, i know some of the artisan already finish or in progress of making the Christmas stuff.

For me, i'm lazy as usual, but i really wanna make something out, so that i have something to proof that i working hard and make somethings  in 2010.

Talented People

ok, what we gonna talk this week? Honestly, i have no idea..:P i have visit snowfern website yesterday, she have a moon cake made in scale 1:12, they are very gorgeous http://snowfern-clover.blogspot.com/.  I personally heart with the piglet in the basket, she make me think/wonder the whole day to figure out how she manage to make it. Well is -TALENT, she is so talented and hardworking + aggressive. Oh well, hope she can make/teach more tutorial about her work like gummy bear, and the little piglet in basket. And of course keep making good miniature.

well, since not much work to do, i browse the forum a bit and saw Angie Scarr interview in the tutorial board. She is an amazing person, talented, nice and hardworking, the member ask a lot of question, and i have a lots of knowledge in my pocket now. http://www.angiescarr.co.uk/

I think is the turn for me to talk about myself, i done nothing in miniature this week, :( oh well, instead of making miniature, i end up making/knitting/crocheting some doll and doll dress. Well, i think that it for this week, hope i manage to make some miniature this week.

Rasberry mousse cake

Rasberry mousse cake make with polymer clay.

Recently my colleague have a lime reasberry mousse cake for her birthday, the cake was really nice, it's have 4 layer, the 1st layer is rasberry, then lime, coconut and some sponge.Me, myself don't like the cake that are too sweet like choc mud, and i only like cheese cake, this is the 1st cake that i love beside cheese cake.
